Portsmouth Rotary Housing Association provides a mixture of one bedroom and studio flats at various locations in Portsmouth for people over 55 years of age (depending on location) and who are at least semi retired i.e. not working more than 15 hours per week.
Rents (including Service Charge) start at just £91.62 per week and include cost of
- Water and Sewerage
- Central heating and hot water
- Garden maintenance
- Exterior window cleaning
- Residential Scheme Manager providing advice, assistance & emergency cover
- Electricity (with some exceptions)
- Laundry Facilities
- Guest Room (a small charge is made)
- Communal Lounge
All of our sheltered blocks have 24 hour emergency cover and door entry systems which enable the tenant to view the visitor at the door before allowing them entry.
All flats have fully fitted kitchens and when required we supply white goods. In addition floor coverings in all rooms (vinyl in kitchen and bathroom and good quality fitted carpets in the other areas of the accommodation).
In all our larger properties there is a lift for easy access to other floors, although none of our blocks have more than four floors.
Every house has a laundry facilities and a guest room to accommodate visitors.
We undertake all maintenance and redecoration of flats and communal areas on a regular basis.
In addition we also have a small number of non-scheme manager assisted properties available in Fareham & Southsea.
